Mouth Guards
Healthy Gums
Gum disease begins as inflammation of the gum line that can progress to affect the bone that supports your teeth. There are three stages of gum disease: gingivitis, early periodontitis and advanced periodontitis. The latter being the most severe.
Early stages of gum disease can often be reversed with regular brushing and flossing. Smoking and some chronic conditions such as diabetes can put you at higher risk.
Childrens Oral Health
It is essential that children attend the dentist regularly as the need for good oral health beings at day 1. Bringing your child regularly will make sure they are comfortable in the dental environment and allow the dentist to check for signs of tooth decay. It will also provide you with a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s diet and oral hygiene routine. It’s essential your child’s teeth are brushed with an age appropriate fluoride toothpaste twice a day, every day. Be sure to keep sugary items strictly to meal times.
