Invisalign - the clear alternative to braces
Invisalign is the worlds most advanced clear aligner system. A revolutionary treatment that provides the same effects as conventional braces whilst remaining discrete and convenient. Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology, Invisalign shows you a detailed treatment plan from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position. A series of clear aligners are then custom made for you based on this treatment plan.
Your aligners can be removed during eating, drinking and brushing (for a total of two hours per day). This is ideal for patients that wish to remove braces for an important event without affecting your treatment plan.
Each aligner is worn for two weeks before replacing with the next aligner in the series. The treatment time depends on your specific needs. Book your free consultation today.

Teeth whitening has become increasingly popular in the past few years. At Hawthorn Dental we get great results from teeth whitening by using professional home whitening with custom made trays. This is an ideal way to brighten discoloured or stained teeth.
At your first appointment a set of impressions are taken for us to create a custom tray that fits perfectly around your teeth. Whitening gel will be dispensed at your second appointment with instructions on how to achieve the best results. The whitening trays will need to be worn 2-4 hours a day for approximately 2 weeks, after which you will be left with your new whiter smile. Check with your dentist to see if you are a suitable candidate for whitening.
At Hawthorn Dental we offer complete smile makeovers. Whether you want straighter teeth, whiter teeth or a complete makeover we can help you achieve your desired smile. Book your free consultation today.
Porcelain veneers are very thin pieces of porcelain used to recreate the natural look of teeth, while also providing strength and resilience comparable to natural tooth enamel. We use veneers to correct several issues; whether your teeth are uneven, chipped, gapped, discoloured or protruding. The number of veneers you may have will depend on your desired end result. If you are interested in having veneers book a free consultation with your Dentist today.
Bridges are commonly used to cover a gap if you’re missing one or more teeth. They are cemented to natural teeth or implants surrounding the space where the tooth once stood.
Bridges can be used to improve a tooth’s appearance, shape, alignment and bite. Gaps left by missing teeth can cause the remaining teeth to shift, which can result in a bad bite. Bridges help prevent this from happening.
